Teresa Giudice: I'm Keeping My Children Protected
The RHONJ star also thanks fans for love and support.
It was Teresa Giudice's oldest daughter Gia who first took to Twitter to express gratitude for those who are sticking by the family's side following Teresa and Joe's pleading guilty to numerous fraud charges earlier this week. Now it's Teresa's turn.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star decided to speak out on social media, writing to her nearly 875,000 followers, "Thank you all for your love & support of my family & my kids. You how much they mean to me. I am keeping them protected & private.xx".
Teresa has made no secret of how heartbreaking the situation has been for her family. "Especially my four young daughters," she said in a statement, "who mean more to me than anything in the world."
But as she expressed on her Twitter, it appears that things will remain fairly private until formal sentencing on July 8. "I have said throughout that I respect the legal process and thus, I intend to address the court directly at sentencing," she said after federal court on Tuesday.
Various media outlets have reported that Joe Giudice could face anywhere from 37 to 46 months in prison, while Teresa could see 21 to 27 months.
Bravo is currently in production on Season 6 of RHONJ.
