Teresa and Jacqueline Sound Off on Sit-Down

There were plenty of big moments on last night's episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Jacqueline Laurita and Teresa Giudice confronted each other; the Manzos had a family fight at the dinner table while the Gorgas and the Giudices seemed to have a peaceful time breaking bread.

How did the stars of the show react?

In her blog this week, Teresa writes that her sit-down with Jacqueline was "intense." Teresa says she was surprised that Jacqueline turned on her when it came to Melissa and stripper-gate, which helped cause Teresa's rift with her brother Joe Gorga.

"I never expected her to turn on me like she did," she writes. But her anger towards Jacqueline doesn't mean she's going to retaliate. "I certainly never got any packet of information about Danielle's past, but if I did, I wouldn't have read it. I really don't care about people's pasts, and I don't have time to go digging. I'm raising 4 kids and working! I'm not the gravedigger in the bunch, believe me!"

Teresa Calls Out Jacqueline

For her part, Jacqueline is firm in believing she had nothing to do with Teresa and Joe's feud. And she writes in her blog post that their family backs her up. "Teresa's family, including her brother, have all told me that I had nothing to do with the reason they didn't talk to her for that year. They have all told Teresa that as well," she writes. "It came straight from the source, so I didn't understand why Teresa was still holding on to that. It was so frustrating to me that Teresa just couldn't take responsibility for her own actions that may have caused that rift in her family."

Melissa agrees with Jacqueline. "I will say that the reason Teresa and Joe didn't speak for over a year had nothing to do with Jacqueline," she writes in her latest blog entry. "It was so beyond that. I know Teresa knows that, and I know that Jacqueline was extremely frustrated getting the blame. That’s a huge weight to put on someone’s shoulders. Let’s see if those two can work it out!"

Caroline Manzo, who helped orchestrate the sit-down, writes in her blog that the two have made strides in repairing their friendship. "Look and listen and watch as they speak about one and other -- it's hurt masked in anger and resentment. The level 10 is based on hurt, not anger. I believe they both needed to have an honest conversation, and if nothing else, get true closure. I didn't think they would come out of the meeting as best friends, but I would like to think that they could come to terms with their feelings and at least be civil towards one and other, nothing more. Mission accomplished... I think."
