#TBT: NeNe Flips at Kandi Over 'Tardy for the Party'

The RHOA stars get hostile about Kim Zolciak's anthem.

When Kandi Burruss first hit the scene in Season 2, all the RHOA ladies were impressed by her renowned status in the music industry. As Season 2 progressed, the Grammy-winning songwriter even teamed up with fellow 'Wife Kim Zolciak to produce Kim’s infamous track, "Tardy for the Party." However, when Kim’s initial plans to record the song with NeNe fell by the wayside, it was only a matter of time before NeNe confronted them both about recording without her.

NeNe went so far as to say, "I think that more people would buy the song if I was on the song." And naturally, this confrontation did not stop there. "I’m gonna stop talking to you before I get blown up on your ass," Kandi warned NeNe as their voices continued to rise. But, regardless of how loud NeNe got, "Tardy for the Party" went on to become the most successful song endeavor of any of the 'Wives, excluding Kandi's illustrious career, of course. In fact, a recent New York Post article ranked the top 14 singles from Real Housewives, even giving "Tardy for the Party" some praise.
