Ramona Singer Breaks Her Silence on Mario

Exclusive: The RHONY star also apologizes for her behavior towards LuAnn and Andy.

The current season of The Real Housewives of New York City may have wrapped, but now Ramona Singer is clearing the air about her private life—specifically, what went wrong between her and husband Mario since she announced last week her split after 25 years together. She's also owning up to how she acted towards Andy Cohen and LuAnn de Lesseps during the Reunion.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Bravo Tuesdays at 9/8c and stream next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

"[The end of my marriage] was not filmed on the show, but it is still, as Andy said, part of my current reality," Ramona confesses in her final blog post of the season. "I must say I was not as respectful as I should have been to Andy. I also now understand what LuAnn went through and should have been more kind to her no matter how she pushed my buttons."

While Ramona had stayed mum on the state of her marriage with Mario during the Reunion, she now reveals that the couple was seeking help. "I felt at times as if I was walking on eggshells," she writes. "We were working with a marriage counselor. I was in a fragile state." She also says that she had asked Mario, who was allegedly having an affair, to leave their home just before taping the Reunion. "Having your husband betray you is the worst feeling in the world," she says. "And I wish it on no one."

While Ramona admits that she was not "as candid" as she should have been during the Reunion taping (watch her reaction to Andy's questions below), she is relying on the love and support of her fellow Housewives, family, friends, and fans. Read her full blog post here.

One person Ramona can surely count on: Sonja Morgan. Last week, she took to Twitter to share how she would help her BFF cope during this difficult time. "We r here for u w/ no judgement or biased comment," she tweeted. "Just support. Ur decision. Respect ur feelings....[I] will always be there when she needs me."
