NeNe's Bridesmaids: Who's Her Real BFF?

Meet the ladies who preceded Miss Leakes down the aisle.

If a bridesmaid is really a "maid" meant to answer to the bride, then any fan of I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding knows that NeNe Leakes' BFFs sure had their work cut out for them.

But just who are these ladies and how did they even meet NeNe? And, more importantly, which one is really her best friend?

Let's just go ahead and ask them, shall we? First off, bridesmaid Mashella Hampton met the original housewife of Atlanta when she herself first moved to Atlanta. Mashella was working as a real estate agent showing off homes in NeNe's sub-division. "I just feel like I'm her best friend," she has no qualms in saying.

But hold on a second there. She might have some competition in Diana Gowins who met NeNe over 7 1/2 years ago and became instant friends over dinner. Diana claims that she and NeNe call each other up every single day. "I became part of the family," she says.

That may be so, but only one of NeNe's bridesmaids—namely Lexis Mason—lays claim to the fact that she thought NeNe was so cool after one phone call, that she flew in to meet her just two days later. The saucy 'maid also introduces herself as a world traveler, mom of two, Cali girl, entertainment manager, real estate girl and a masseuse. (Though what she somehow fails to mention is that she is also a vajazzling expert.)

Bridesmaid Marlo Hampton runs a store called The Red Carpet Boutique and met NeNe when she was styling her for an event. Like any good friend, she is willing to call her girl out when necessary. "I call her bipolar sometimes, but it takes one to know one," she jokes. "I'm slightly bipolar, she's a little more."

And then, of course, there is NeNe's Real Housewives of Atlanta castmate Cynthia Bailey, who readily admits that she and NeNe didn't have a "love connection" the first time they met. "She was bigger than life. I kind of clearly was swallowed up by her," she admits, before saying that "the more times we saw each other, the better we started to click, and we've been inseparable every since."

Ooookay… we just realized we're actually too scared to declare any one of these ladies the supreme BFF. But, hey, it's never a bad thing to have more than one good friend by your side…or is it?
