Lisa Vanderpump: My Family Isn't Supportive of My Shows
The RHOBH star explains why her English kin disagree with her career.
When you think of Brits, you probably think of Shakespeare, crumpets and afternoon tea. So what do Lisa Vanderpump's friends and family think of the drama and bad behavior that pervade her two shows The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules?
"They're not supportive," Lisa said when she dropped by E! News this week. "It's a 'reality show' and that doesn't quite fit in with their perception of what I should be doing with my real life. People in England don't talk like that."
Of course, Lisa has been known to chastise bad language, most notably Brandi Glanville's use of the f-word and c-word these past couple of weeks. Still it's not the Housewives that Lisa thinks would be guilty of completely unacceptable behavior in the UK, it's her staff at Sur as seen on Vanderpump Rules.
"They are so naughty, I even see the footage, I think, 'No, they didn't do that! We've gotta cut that out!'" she says, showing some reservations about having her name in the title. "Because it's Vanderpump Rules, if it ever goes out to England, I'm not gonna be let back into the country, I swear to God."
Lisa also spoke about the beginnings of her feud with Brandi and brought along her LVP pink sangria for E! hosts Giuliana Rancic and Catt Sadler to try out, prompting Rancic to claim "it's better than [Bethenny Frankel's] Skinnygirl stuff." Oh, snap. Are we about to see another bi-coastal Housewives feud go down?
