Lauren Manzo Says She's 'Not Lazy at All' for Getting Lap-Band Surgery
The RHONJ daughter says she works out nearly two hours a day now.
You can say what you'd like about Lauren Manzo, but don't call the Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter lazy.
Lauren, who recently revealed that she got Lap-Band surgery to help with weight loss and has dropped about 30 pounds since, says in an interview with Celebuzz that she's working out hard in order to shed pounds. "I am at the gym every morning at 6:30am," the daughter of Caroline Manzo said, confronting those who think she isn't putting in the work to lose weight.
Manzo says that while she knew she needed to lose some weight, in her head she felt like people -- including her family -- were judging her. "I thought they were calling me fat even if they weren't," she says.
So what's she doing to keep the pounds off, aside from her early morning workouts? "I eat a lot of protein and vegetables. No salt, no sugar, no carbs and no fat. It really is not easy. If I take a big bite of anything — doesn't matter what it is — I will probably end up throwing it up."
