The Manzo clan is about to expand: Caroline's daughter Lauren is engaged to longtime boyfriend Vito Scalia!
Lauren shared the happy news on Instagram last night—along with a picture of her enormous engagement ring:
Not surprisingly, the bride-to-be is overjoyed. "I'm so incredibly happy!!" she tells Us Weekly. "I'm in shock. I'm so excited to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. Well he was my brothers' best friend first, but I stole him!"
Lauren and long-term boyfriend Vito Scalia have been dating for four years, and the topic of marriage has come up frequently on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
"He is more than ready, and I am just not," she told Andy recently, when the Manzos stopped by Watch What Happens Live. Professionally, Lauren's been hard at work at Cafface, the beauty bar she owns.
She also has made changes to her own self. Last month, she revealed that she had undergone breast reduction surgery "I couldn't be happier," she said—but it seems her joy knows no bounds now that she's engaged!
