Kyle Richards: Kim Is Doing 'Incredible' with Sobriety

She also admits that she didn't used to understand Kim's alcoholism as a disease.

Kim Richards' bumpy road to sobriety has been well documented, most strikingly in the second season finale of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, when it was revealed that she had finally checked into rehab for alcoholism.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo Tuesday, November 19 at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

Now proud younger sister Kyle Richards reveals to E! that her sister is "doing incredible. She is so strong and in such a great place."

In fact, Kim is doing so well that her family no longer even celebrates sobriety milestones because it has become everyday life for the Richards clan. "We're just moving forward with the new sober, happy, healthy Kim," Kyle says.

Things didn't always look so rosy for the two sisters, especially as Kyle admits that she didn't used to understand Kim's addictions. "I wasn't equipped to deal with it years ago because I didn't understand that it really was a disease. I'm such a control freak that I was like, 'Just get it together!'" she says. Now she knows that "you really have to have the support of your family and friends and people around you that really get that it is a disease."

Both Kyle and Kim will be appearing in the new season of RHOBH which premieres on November 4th. Watch a preview of the show below.
