Kim Zolciak: How Motherhood Changed Me
She also reveals which RHOA stars she still talks to.
Now a mom of six, Kim Zolciak calls her life with husband Kroy and her brood "chaos," but also opens up about being the happiest she's ever been.
"There’s nothing in the world that compares to being a mom," she tells Mini Magazine. "Kroy and I always talk about how later on down the road, when football, TV, and all that stuff is going to be gone; we’re going to have a big family and that is what we really wanted. We just couldn’t be any happier."
The Don't Be Tardy star also gets candid about the difference between having her first two kids at a young age and her four youngest kids within the past three years. "The difference between having Brielle and Ariana when I was a lot younger is that I have a lot more patience now. Then, I was just trying to get by. I had Brielle at 19 and Ariana at 23, I was a single mom," she says. "By the time I gave birth to Ariana I was going through a divorce. So now in this situation I can really enjoy every little milestone."
And what's Kim's secret to dressing for a body that, as she puts it, has been "pregnant for three years?" "I haven’t taken my sweats off, unless I’m filming, in three years!" she admits. "When I’m filming I have a really cute top on and I have sweat pants on underneath, but you don’t see that. My body has changed so much. I go from being pregnant to not being pregnant to breastfeeding, everything being double its size and then pregnant again. I just like my sweat pants. They work pregnant and not pregnant. They work right after a baby and six months after a baby."
Of course, if Kim looks like this 9 days after giving birth, we're pretty sure her body is going to be slammin' in 6 months, sweat pants or not.
Kim also opened up about the two Real Housewives of Atlanta stars that she still talks to. "I talk to NeNe and I text Cynthia," she says. Looks like that tearful reunion at NeNe's wedding has had some long-lasting effects.
