Kandi Burruss Reveals Why Her Honeymoon Is Delayed
The newlyweds didn't embark on a trip after their nuptials.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kandi Burruss married longtime love Todd Tucker just last week—but how come the couple haven't embarked on a romantic honeymoon right after their nuptials?
Kandi reveals the two are waiting to take a celebratory voyage because work is a priority for the two at the moment. "Todd has to go out of town to set up a show his company is producing for a network that's just starting production in a week," she wrote on Instagram. But she adds that the two are going to "do a quick getaway next weekend."
While Kandi says she would have "loved to take one of those long honeymoons and fly out the day after the wedding," she's honest that both her and Todd's careers are paramount at the moment. Kandi has just released the soundtrack to her musical A Mother's Love this week and Todd will be focused on production for the next five months (he'll be stationed in Los Angeles).
Still, Kandi is adamant that she's happier than ever now that she's a married woman: "I woke up feeling blessed and highly favored this morning," she wrote.
