The newlywed and Real Housewives of Atlanta star posted an Instagram photo Tuesday sharing some big news. “Just bought a new house for my mom,” Kandi captioned the pic of a beaming Mama Joyce sandwiched between herself and their real estate agent.
After months of tension that played out on RHOA and Kandi's Wedding, it’s nice to see these two happy together. Mama Joyce’s smile here is in stark contrast to the family photos from Kandi and Todd’s summer nuptials.
Kandi said the purchase was a "bittersweet moment" and shared the emotional details along with a photo of the home’s previous owners. “The wonderful couple that sold us the house lived there for 20 years. The wife started crying right at the closing table and I didn't know what to do.”
