Is NeNe Leakes Returning to 'Glee?'
The 'RHOA' star is reportedly reprising her role on the hit musical show.
She may be starring in the upcoming Bravo series I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding, but Atlanta housewife NeNe Leakes might also sizzling up the airwaves on another network this fall. According to a report on E! News, citing unnamed sources, NeNe will reprise her role as the sassy Coach Roz on the hit musical series Glee when it returns for a fifth season on September 26. She is reportedly set to appear in several episodes. Last time fans saw Coach Roz, she had left her swimming coach post and yanked the Cheerios from Coach Sue, played by Jane Lynch. This season of Glee is sure to be a bittersweet one following the sudden passing of star Cory Monteith in July. Fox Entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly revealed that Monteith's character Finn Hudson will be written out of the third episode, which Reilly says "will deal directly with the incidents involved with Cory's passing and drug abuse in particular." Glee will take an extended hiatus following the third episode.
I Dream of NeNe: the Wedding premieres Sept. 17 at 9/8c on Bravo.
