Gail Simmons Reveals Her Baby's First Milestones
The new mom shares why her daughter is the "best thing in the world."
It's been nearly five months since Gail Simmons welcomed her first daughter Dahlia Rae into the world—and the new mom is still beaming with joy.
"It's the best thing in the world," Gail tells the Dish.
While little Dahlia may not be speaking or walking just yet, Gail says her daughter is hitting plenty of milestones. "She giggles and she's almost rolling over," she says. "She doesn't really say much at all yet, but she is beautiful. I'm in love with her every morning and I get to wake up with her."
Gail, who lives in New York with husband Jeremy Abrams, may have to endure a bit of time away from her baby in coming weeks. The next season of Top Chef will be invading Boston for Season 12. This time around, Gail will be teaming up once again with Tom Colicchio (returning as head judge) and host Padma Lakshmi. Production kicks off this spring and the show will premiere on Bravo this Fall.
