Gail Simmons Is Heading Back to School
The 'Top Chef' judge will serve as Babson College's Entrepreneur in Residence.
Pack a lunch -- Gail Simmons is heading back to school!
The Top Chef judge and Food & Wine magazine culinary queen will follow in the footsteps of Andrew Zimmern and Daymond John when she joins Babson College as the school's Entrepreneur in Residence, the school announced this week.
Gail will use the mentoring skill she picked up in the TC kitchen to help guide students at the Massachusetts school, which is widely known for its entrepreneurship program. Her role is sponsored by Babson's Center for Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership (CWEL) and the Lewis Institute for Social Innovation at Babson College.
According to Gail's Twitter, she's "honored" to be taking on the role.
Here's hoping Babson has a cafeteria up to her discerning tastes. And don't forget to watch Gail use her school-worthy skills juding the Top Chef Season 10 finale, this Wednesday at 10/9 C.
