Caroline and Teresa: BFFs?

Don't hold your breath. But now that the dust has settled following Caroline Manzo's exit from The Real Housewives of New Jersey, she's looking back on her long and tumultuous frenemy-ship with Teresa Giudice.

"When I had the opportunity to work with her and be a part of her life, I tried my best," Caroline tells Us Weekly. "No ill feelings...It's history. It's in my past and that's where I'm keeping it. I walked away for a reason."

Throughout her run, Caroline often clashed with Teresa, whether it was over Teresa's diss about the Manzos in her cookbook or her attacking Caroline's physical appearance at the Reunion. But despite their volatile relationship, Caroline wishes her nothing but the best—especially when it comes to the Giudices legal woes. (They plead guilty to federal fraud charges in March; they'll be formally sentenced in July).

"My heart goes out to her and what she's going through now," Caroline says. "I wish her and her children peace and nothing but the best."

Now, Caroline is gearing up for the debut of her family's new show Manzo'd With Children. She says fans will be in for plenty of surprises. "I think they'll say, 'Oh I never knew Lauren was that feisty,' or, 'I never knew Caroline was that laid back!' I'm excited and so honored to have this opportunity! I'm shocked! It blows my mind."
