Brand Glanville Reviews LeAnn Rimes' Album

The Real Housewife of Beverly Hills has plenty to say about Spitfire, naturally.

By Nicki Gostin

LeAnn Rimes' new album, Spitfire, contains songs that directly address her affair with Brandi Glanville’s then husband Eddie Cibrian. In the song "Borrowed," LeAnn croons, “I know you’re not mine, only borrowed/‘Cause you already belong to her, at least you said so/But I’m starting to believe it ain’t the whole truth.”

Brandi absolutely loves the album and has given it two big enthusiastic thumbs up. Riiight. As to be expected, Brandi isn’t exactly a fan of the country star's songwriting abilities.

“LeAnn has a great voice...." A compliment?! She continues, "...But she needs to work on her songwriting,” she tells In Touch magazine. There's the Brandi we know and love. “I’m surprised it’s so bad. She’s not going to win any fans by writing a song about breaking up a family. It’s old news -- no one wants to hear you cry over getting everything you wanted," she says.

Just in case you weren’t really sure how she felt about it the Beverly Hills Housewife adds, “If LeAnn wants her career back, she needs better lyrics. These are the worst songs I’ve ever heard. No one wants to listen to his!”
