Asa Soltan: Diamond Water Is Booming!
Look out, Germany: the Shahs of Sunset star reveals what's next for her water brand.
She's dreamed about this day for years, and now, it's finally here: Not only has Asa Soltan Rahmati's Diamond Water launched—but it's on fire!
"It's been a real blessing. I've worked really hard on this—It's been my dream and I'm really proud of it," the Shahs of Sunset star tells The Dish. "We started shipping three weeks ago. We're so behind in orders. We we get 500 to 1,000 emails a day [with] questions."
The Bravolebrity says her special brand of of diamond-infused alkaline bottled water helps her unleash her "inner Aries fire dragon intergalactic Persian priestess"—and now the world is embracing its power too.
But who, exactly, quenches their thirst with Asa's product? "The demographic seems to be broad: the spa people and the yoga people because it's alkaline," Asa explains. "And there's the glam people because of the diamonds. But it's not frivolous. It's water. We need it."
The self-proclaimed Persian pop priestess says things are going so well that she hopes her next customers are...German. "We're hoping to expand. Diamond water has international appeal," she says. "We're hoping by summer to have some major distributorship, like the country of Germany."
Asa claims that because her water—which sells for $35.88 for a 12-pack of 1-liter bottles—has a higher pH level than plain tap water, it can "neutralize acid in your bloodstream, boost your metabolism and help your body absorb nutrients more effectively," she explains on the Diamond Water website. "Some even say that alkaline water can help prevent disease, slow the aging process and maintain a healthier bone density."
Her customers also surprisingly like to use it in cocktails. "I get a lot of Instagrams from people who make drinks [with it]—diamond water, fresh ginger and honey," marvels Asa who says customers have even asked her, "'Will it still have the diamond energy in it if I make coffee with it?' People really go crazy with it."
