Anyone who thinks that sweaters are meant for freezing temps can go stand over there. In the corner. With my kids who are also in a time-out. Because this simply is not the truth. That’s right, I’m referring to the summer knit—that loose, lightweight sweater that is perfect for throwing over a bathing suit after a long day at the beach or pairing with cutoffs and espadrilles for a Sunday funday in the city. More elegant than a sweatshirt but less cumbersome than a jacket, the summer knit is the answer to your solstice layering prayers.
