Kroy Biermann Had to "Find a Different Outlet" Since Football
The #DontBeTardy dad shares what he's up to since becoming a free agent.
Kroy Biermann is the kind of guy who is just as comfortable helping to raise his six kids with Kim Zolciak-Biermann as he is on the football field. After becoming a free agent in 2016, the former Atlanta Falcons players has settled into a more domestic existence. Though, he says, he's definitely as fit and physical as ever before — even though he currently isn't playing football full-time.
"I definitely have had to try to find a different outlet. You know football was kind of like an outlet for me, so whether it's cleaning up the yard or going for a run or doing something like that, I've had to kind of learn that aspect of my life," he told The Daily Dish. "But I really enjoy kind of being that guy."
The Don't Be Tardy dad spent eight seasons on the Atlanta Falcons and briefly played with the Buffalo Bills in 2016 before becoming a free agent, leaving him wide open to field any and all kinds of options. Without going into too much detail about what might be on his plate in the future, Kroy did tease that he's been in talks about some interesting-sounding opportunities. "I've continued to stay in shape. I've continued to work out. I've continued to be kind of quote, unquote 'ready.' The opportunity has to present itself that I want and enjoy," he said. "If not, I have a plethora of options and I've kind of started to go down those roads. They're nothing that are too serious."
