Ashley Graham Puts Workout Video Trolls to Shame on Instagram

When will they learn?

By Chantel Morel

When it comes to body shamers and trolls on the internet, Ashley Graham has no problem putting them in their place. Not only does the body positive advocate/model/fashion designer flawlessly shut down the haters and critics, but she also uses these instances as an opportunity to spread an important message as well.

On Sunday, October 8, Graham posted a video of herself on Instagram working out. Now, those who follow Graham know this is nothing new from the model. The 29-year-old frequently post videos of herself working out, but of course a few haters just had to share their unnecessary comments such as, "Don't be gettin skinny on me now," and "She actually works out?"

Once again, Graham took this moment to not only shut down the trolls, but to school them as well. After her workout video, she followed up with a post stating, “EVERYTIME after I post a workout video I get comments like...'You'll never be skinny so stop trying', 'you still need your fat to be a model', 'why would you want to lose what made you famous.’”

She continued, "Just for the record - I workout to: stay healthy, feel good, get rid of jet lag, clear my head, show big girls we can move like the rest of 'em, stay flexible and strong, have more energy. I don't workout to lose weight or my curves, because I love the skin I'm in.” Bam!
