Jenna Lyons Just Took a Big Risk on the Red Carpet
The J. Crew stalwart made a surprising fashion choice at the 2017 Tony Awards.
Amid a sea of ornate gowns at the 2017 Tony Awards, fashion force Jenna Lyons opted for something different. The J. Crew executive wore Voutsa's silk robe dress, which is decked with colorful, squiggling snakes. She paired the comfortable-but-chic look with black sandals that had a glittering heel, and carried a sparkling clutch to match.
With her slicked back hair, bright lip, and signature spectacles, Jenna also brought on her classic beauty look. The fashion pro took over Who What Wear's Instagram story for the evening, and let viewers watch as she did her own makeup—and accessorized as only she can. "Yes, I am wearing diamonds and a bathrobe," she confessed, while fastening her Buccaletti jewels.
Jenna is not the only style star making the case for pajama dressing this spring. In April, Gigi Hadid hit the streets of Manhattan in a striped set paired with petal-pink heels and statement glasses.
Now, if only workplaces would implement Pajama Mondays.
