Aesha Scott Reveals Her Exciting Next Step with Boyfriend Scotty Dobson (EXCLUSIVE)
The Below Deck Down Under chief stew shared that she has plans to lay roots with her beau in New Zealand.
While viewers have seen many yachties struggle to maintain long-distance relationships during their time on charter across all of the shows in the Below Deck franchise, Aesha Scott and her boyfriend, Scott "Scotty" Dobson, are still going strong after more than three years of dating.
Viewers first got to know Aesha during her time as a second stew on Seasons 4 and 5 of Below Deck Mediterranean, and she's risen through the ranks and been working as the chief stew on both seasons of Below Deck Down Under.
During her tenure on the Australian-based series, Aesha has gushed about her relationship with Scotty. On Episode 2 of the sophomore season, which aired on July 24, Scotty popped up to Facetime Aesha, and the two discussed the exciting next step they are planning to take in their relationship. Aesha also opened up about this milestone during an exclusive chat with BravoTV.com.

After the first charter on Season 2 wrapped up, Aesha Facetimed her beau to share her excitement about their nearly-$1,600 tip. She revealed that the four-figure sum could go towards buying a house.
"Oh, I never got to get my money to show you," she told Scotty on the phone as they chatted while she was spending time outside on the boat's deck. "We got 1,590 U.S. [dollars] each, so there's some house deposit!"
As she confirmed in an interview on the episode, Aesha and Scotty are looking to switch up their current living arrangement. When Aesha isn't working on a yacht, she's living with her beau in a converted ambulance in the United States.
"Scott and I have been together for over two years now, and we're planning to buy a house in New Zealand," she said. "Because living in the converted ambulance has been lovely, but we would really like to poop in real toilets instead of in buckets. The next step in our relationship is flushing."
An Update on Aesha Scott and Scotty Dobson's Relationship
During a virtual chat with BravoTV.com on July 6, Aesha gushed about her boyfriend.
"Scott and I are just better than ever, I absolutely love the sh-t out of that man. He's so wonderful," Aesha said, before confirming that the two are dating long-distance currently. "He's back in Colorado at the moment working in a bar. His goal is to be a pro athlete, so he's just made a short film that he's entered into film festivals about his speed-flying and he's wanting to work on a feature-length film next. "
She then elaborated on her plans to buy property with him in New Zealand (which is where the two are both from).
"I'm here [in New Zealand] seeing family, and then I'm going to Australia for work. We spend a lot of time apart, but [we're] stronger than ever," she continued. "We're just saving at the moment to buy property in New Zealand this summer."
Though Scotty and Aesha aren't yet engaged, the chief stew is confident that they will be together in the long-term.
"He's definitely, you know, he's the person. We'll get married and have kids and all of that, for sure, eventually," she concluded. "I think we're in just such a busy phase in our lives that we just, you know, there's no rush."
