Here's Why Kyle Richards' "Usual Lunch" Involves Eating in Her Car Alone: "So Glam"
And it's not just because The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom is so busy all the time.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Kyle Richards is revealing her diet secrets — and they're not just about what she eats, but how and when she manages to eat at all amid the responsibilities of her abundant life.
The Feast chatted with Kyle at a panel discussion to promote her new show American Woman, held at Los Angeles' Larchmont location of the spinning studio Flywheel, and she gave us the full scoop on exactly what she eats in a given day. Spoiler: It's impressively restrained.
She also shared some of the eating habits she's adapted to fit her lifestyle as both a busy professional wife and mom of four — and also an easily recognized celebrity.
"I end up eating in my car a lot," Kyle told us. "I know on The Housewives, you see us having lunch [in restaurants] and stuff. When I’m not shooting The Housewives in my daily life, you’ll usually see me in my car eating. I’d rather eat in my car alone than in a restaurant alone — I actually like going out to eat alone, but when you’re on a TV show, it’s not as fun!"
She described one scenario when she sat down in a restaurant to eat alone — but was quickly approached by fans. So that's why, for Kyle, restaurants often take a back seat to... eating in the front seat.
"So, I’ll just eat my salad alone in the car, put the music on, talk to a friend, eat in the car parked on the side of the road, that’s my usual lunch. So glam!"
Glam indeed — and Kyle's in excellent company, because her RHOBH cast mate Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave does the exact same thing.
