Lisa Rinna's Youngest Daughter is on The Fast Track to Becoming a Supermodel
Amelia Gray's career is about to take off in a major way.
Lisa Rinna had a motherly geek-out—and we totally joined her—when her model daughter Delilah Belle shut down the CFDA Awards last week. And now, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom has another reason to fill up with pride. As W magazine reports, Lisa's youngest daughter Amelia Gray just signed a modeling contract with IMG. That's pretty major: IMG is also the firm that represents such runway stalwarts as Gigi and Bella Hadid. (Heard of them?)
The 16-year-old chatted with W right after the ink was dry on her contract, and was clearly stoked about the big news. She also admitted to learning a lot about modeling by watching her lookalike older sister work. "I've learned how important it is to let your personality shine and always have manners and respect every single person on set," Amelia spilled. "I've also learned how difficult it can be, and I've developed a very different kind of respect for supermodels."
The rising model has a cool perspective on the profession. As someone who loves art, but isn't naturally talented at drawing or painting, Amelia plans to bring some artistic panache to her work in the industry. "I love the idea of being the canvas and allowing your emotions to paint a picture," she told W. "I think it's fascinating."
The art of modeling has had a profound affect on Amelia since she was just a kid. She recounted being at a runway show with Lisa when she was just 12 years old, and tearing up at the beauty of the event.
"I remember watching my first show, and I started to cry. I had no idea why I cried, it was so weird for me. I figured out I cried, because it was so beautiful and elegant, and I was passionate about something for the first time ever," she said. "Ever since then my mom would tell me 'don't worry someday that will be you.' Of course I never actually thought that would be the case."
This clinches it: mama's always right!
