Bella Hadid Just Made a Smokin' Change to Her Summer Hairstyle
With one tweak, the model took her bob from sleek to sizzling.
On Monday night, the Council of Fashion Designers of America hosted its star-studded awards show, and the style was off the charts. Celebrities walked the red carpet arm-in-arm with their favorite designers, and Bella Hadid showed up with Virgil Abloh of the uber hip label Off-White. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills daughter got attention not only for her bright pink blazer dress, but for the subtle tweak she made to her summer hairstyle.
Since Cannes, Bella has been rocking a sleek bob. But last night, the model showcased a new set of blunt bangs. Cue fan freak-out, and comparisons to all the '90s icons. The stylish look evoked references to everyone from Mia Wallace in Pulp Fiction to Julia Roberts' character in Pretty Woman. (Remember that wig in the opening scene?) The overall consensus: the look was very '90s, and very chic.
And whether this is a permanent cut or the handiwork of some great clip-in bangs, we can't say for sure. But, let's just revel in the moment.
Bella's big sister Gigi also hit the event, wearing head-to-toe white by The Row. Contrasting her sister's blunt chop, Gigi wore her hair long, loose, and wavy. While Bella looked like a boss lady, Gigi looked like a high priestess of fashion. Which is pretty accurate on both counts, come to think of it.
More sister outings, please.
