The Real Housewives of Potomac mom also shares whether she will have more kids in the future.
Monique Samuels can barely contain her excitement about being pregnant with her third child, especially after suffering a miscarriage last year. But when it comes to finding out her baby's gender, The Real Housewives of Potomac mom isn't in such a hurry.
Monique recently shared with PEOPLE that she and husband Chris Samuels will be waiting until the baby is born to find out his or her gender. “It’ll be a surprise,” she said. “With my two kids, we waited until we pushed to find out the sex. We like to know then.”
But Monique, who is also mom to son Christopher, 5, and daughter Milani, 3, has a great track record when it comes to guessing what the sex of her little one will be. “Early on in my pregnancies, I always get this feeling about what I’m carrying,” she told PEOPLE. “I felt like Christopher was a boy … I felt like Milani was a girl … and right now, I’m really feeling like this baby is a boy. There are a lot of similarities to my pregnancy with Christopher. We won’t know until December though.”
Monique is due to welcome her baby on December 3. But her husband is already setting his sights on baby No.4, even though Monique is more of the mind that they will “cross that road after this one’s out of me.” “This just happened — we weren’t really trying again,” Monique previously told PEOPLE. “It’s a great surprise and Chris is like, ‘Well, I want more kids.’ But those 13 weeks of just having zero energy were torture. I felt, like, good for nothing. We’ll see if I can do it again.”
The RHOP mom has said that she's going to wait until she's about six-and-a-half months pregnant before she tells Christopher and Milani that they will soon be welcoming a little brother or sister. “We haven’t told Christopher and Milani yet as we would like to wait until we’re a little further along; kids tend to be a little impatient and I would rather them know when it’s almost time," Monique told The Daily Dish via email when she announced her pregnancy. "However, they have been giving my belly plenty of hugs and kisses. It’s almost as if they know, but they don’t know they know!"
