On Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, viewers witnessed Kenya Moore contemplating whether she should use her and Marc Daly’s frozen embryos to have another child. However, after consulting with her doctor, Kenya learned about the potential risks that could arise from another pregnancy due to complications she experienced when she was pregnant with her daughter, Brooklyn, who is now 4 years old.

In an interview, Kenya opened up about the matter, saying, “I never thought about all of those risks.” She added, “I don’t want to put myself at risk to the point where I may not survive having another baby, and leaving Brooklyn and another child motherless.”

Fast-forward to Part 2 of the RHOA reunion, which aired on September 10, and Kenya shared what’s next in her plan for having another child after host Andy Cohen asked for an update.

Is Kenya Moore ready for Baby No. 2? She says…

“Kenya, are you any closer to getting Brooklyn her bunk beds and a baby brother?” Andy asked.

The question instantly made Kenya laugh before she admitted that her daughter is no longer interested in having a brother. “She actually has switched it to wanting a baby sister,” Kenya told Andy.

Kenya also revealed to her castmates and Andy that she has settled on a different way to welcome her next child. “I have decided to adopt,” Kenya explained.

Following the announcement of Kenya’s exciting news, the other RHOA ’Wives and Andy all commended the Kenya Moore Hair Care founder for choosing adoption. “That’s great!” Andy told Kenya.

Shortly after, Shereé Whitfield asked Kenya “what age” she would like the child to be once the adoption process begins.

Her response? “Um, maybe 3 [or] 4. Yeah, maybe right after you know they learn how to walk and talk.”

What has Kenya Moore’s daughter, Brooklyn Daly, been up to lately?

As Bravo fans know, Kenya’s daughter, Brooklyn, is not shy — much like her mom. In fact, she’s often showing off her larger-than-life personality. Most recently, the 4-year-old let her big smile do the talking when she was getting ready for her first day of school, and you best believe she looked fashionable while doing so.

Taking to Instagram in August, Kenya posted a precious photo of her little girl standing in front of a “back to school” sign. Brooklyn wore a dress that had a white top covered in colorful hearts, a lilac purple skirt, and silver flats.

Kenya captioned the post, “First day of school! Class of 2037.”
