Captain Kerry Titheradge Makes His Below Deck Debut

In the opening moments of the premiere episode, Captain Kerry discuses his nearly-30 yearlong yachting career. "Growing up in the Australian outback, I had to be tough," he says. "Adventure and danger for me, it's just another day."

"I've sailed all over the world. North America, the Atlantic, Caribbean," he adds. "But this is my first time in Grenada. What a beautiful place."

In addition to navigating some of the dangers of captaining a large vessel around the ocean, Kerry has also dealt with personnel issues over the years.

"The easiest part of being a captain is driving the boat," he admits. "The hard part's the crew."

"I've come across many, many personalities," he continues.

Viewers then catch a glimpse at some of the personalities they'll be seeing as the season progresses.

Meet the Crewmates Joining Captain Kerry Titheradge By Starting the Below Deck Season 11 Premiere

After completing his first full season as a Below Deck chief stew, Fraser is looking to change things up in his leadership style on Season 11. "I didn't realize that becoming a chief stew meant that I had to become a therapist," Fraser says on the premiere, as he's seen comforting a fellow stew on deck. "But, I'm coming back with an iron fist."

His new lease on leadership may cause some conflicts with new stew, Barbie. The two can be seen having an intense exchange one moment, and in another, Barbie opens up about her charmed upbringing.

"I grew up with three nannies. One would cook, one would clean, [and] one would do my hair," she explains to the other crew members during a dinner out. "I'm a huge daddy's girl, for sure," she adds in an interview, before saying that she's also "real as f-ck."

Another stew, Xandi, uniquely describes herself in a separate interview. "I am a witch and a vampire," she says. "I do not like human contact. I only come to life at night."

The final interior team crew member, Cat, says that she "[doesn't] dream of labor" and that she "just want[s] to chill."

Deckhand Sunny says that she tries to "stay out of drama," but that she acknowledges that "boys are [her] weakness." Fellow deckhand Kyle also has love on the brain, as he notes that his Scottish accent "works tenfold" when it comes to his dating life.

Returning deck team member Ben is on a similar wavelength as Sunny and Kyle.

"I'm such a sucker for a pretty face," he admits on the premiere.

The other heads of department, Chef Anthony and Jared, introduce themselves as well.

"Managing a team is, yeah, managing a lot," Jared says. "But, you can be [a] problem solver, or you can be problematic."

In one moment from the premiere teaser, Anthony struggles under the pressure in the galley.

"It's not French cuisine, it's Anthony cuisine," he says. "I cook with my heart."
