Lisa Rinna Attributes the "Opposites Attract" Rule to Her Successful Marriage with Harry Hamlin
The #RHOBH couple reflect on 20 years of wedded bliss.
Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin make 20 years of marriage look oh-so-good. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills duo celebrate their milestone wedding anniversary on March 29 — and they really haven't aged a day since their nuptials back in 1997.
With two decades of love and two model daughters marking their romantic legacy, we just had to know why they work so well together. For one thing, they always make time for one another, Harry revealed. And why does Lisa think they work? "This'll be our 20th wedding anniversary, March 29th. We've been together for 25 years. I don't know. I think we got really lucky, right? No we got lucky," she told The Daily Dish.
Well luck aside, there is another secret or two that keeps them together. "And it has a lot to do with respect," Lisa continued. "And you need to be complete opposites. Like complete opposites. That helps."
When we spoke to Lisa back in 2015, she shared that there really isn't a secret to keeping the spark alive. "It's just work. It takes work. It takes communication. It takes some luck [laughs], a lot of mutual respect. I think we got really, really lucky," she said, mirroring her recent comments. She added, "He's just really supportive. And my favorite thing that my husband does is he just supports me. I'm not always the easiest person to support, I do some crazy things — I put my foot in my mouth, I get myself into some trouble, and that husband of mine just will support me and hold my hand and pick me up. He's just the most amazing being. I'm so lucky to have somebody who loves me... but he loves me unconditionally [and] the same thing, I love him unconditionally."
