Harry Hamlin Is Living Proof That Real Men Cry During Fashion Week
The #RHOBH dad has a lot of sweet feelings about his daughter Delilah Belle's modeling career.
If you've ever wondered what brings a tear to Harry Hamlin's eye, it just so happens to be watching one of his daughters accomplish something major. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills dad shed a fear tears when he watched his teen daughter, Delilah Belle Hamlin, walk in her first fashion show last fall in the Tommy x Gigi collection. And he was hoping he could compose himself as she did it again during New York Fashion Week just this week.
"The first time we saw her walk, which was in the Tommy Hilfiger show here, I was in tears. I have to tell you. She's my little girl. I mean, she's my little girl and all of a sudden she's walking in Tommy's show and I was crying," he revealed to The Daily Dish from his front row seat at the Sherri Hill show on Monday. "I don't know if that's gonna happen today. I think I might be jaded at this point. I don't know yet, we'll see."

Considering all the attention his daughters are getting these days as their modeling careers take off, Harry shared just what type of fatherly advice he's given them to help them navigate show biz. "Something we talk about all the time in our family is that whatever other people think of you is none of your business," he said. "And that's kind of mantra in our house and it's something that the kids are starting to understand. And I think whenever somebody does finally get that, it's a major release in life. It's a way to be able to live life like by taking a deep breath."
Harry's wife, Lisa Rinna (who's had plenty of Hollywood experience herself), shared whether there's anything about watching her daughters go into that world that worries her. "I haven't really been fearful because I think you're fearful anyway as a parent having your kids just be out in the world," she said. "So because we've been in show business for so many years, I don't know, I've never had fear about it, no."
Then Harry had this bit of wisdom about any career his kids could have chosen for themselves. "They're good kids and they have good heads on their shoulders and feet on the ground," he said. "Look, if they got into biochemistry, imagine what they would be exposed to there."
