Fredrik Eklund: Derek Kaplan's Son Kai Is "So Excited" About the Twins

Later this year, Fredrik Eklund and Derek Kaplan will have two little bundles of joy to add to their family. The couple's surrogate is currently six months pregnant with twins -- a boy and a girl. In addition to the Million Dollar Listing New York couple being overjoyed by the twins, Derek's son, Kai, is also ready to meet his new siblings.
"He's so excited," Fredrik recently told The Daily Dish about Kai's reaction to the news, adding that he'll soon be in NYC to get in some hangout time with his two dads. Fredrik noted that the whole endeavor of completing his family with the twins is "crazy" and "unbelievable."
Derek, of course, is also counting down the days until he gets the chance to meet Freddie Jr. and Milla. "We are preparing. We're getting really ready. It's really nice cause we're doing it together. We're laying up at night in bed; we're talking. I feel like were getting a lot closer, him and I too, because of it," he said, adding that the news has brought them closer together in all aspects of their relationship. "Even our sex life is better than ever -- the whole thing is very weird. It's crazy; it's funny."
