Hillary Clinton Rocked a Power Pantsuit for Her WWHL Clubhouse Debut
Hillary Clinton stayed true to her signature style for a hotly anticipated sit-down with Andy Cohen.
On March 5, Andy Cohen sat down with Hillary Clinton for Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. As Andy said at the top of the episode: "It's one Hill of a show!"
For her debut appearance, the former Secretary of State stuck with her signature style. Dipping into her ample collection of pantsuits, the former FLOTUS wore a burgundy version of the power look, also loved by Bravolebs. Pairing a loose, boxy jacket with more fitted pants, Clinton left her blazer unbuttoned.
Underneath her jacket, she wore a blouse with a ruffled collar; the whole ensemble was in a monochrome hue that brought Merlot to mind. (That's not to be confused with Clinton's signature drink, however: She later told Andy that white wine is her go-to.) Finally, she wore scalloped ballet flats in the same shade.
During her interview, Clinton revealed that she has some very fashionable advisers on the wardrobe front. Vogue editor Anna Wintour is a close friend, and Clinton confirms in the clip above that the publishing legend assisted her in choosing pantsuits while on the campaign trail in 2016.
