Katie Maloney Nails Casual-Cool Airport Style in a Black Blazer and Sneakers
The Vanderpump Rules cast member showed off her street style during a recent getaway.
Katie Maloney has been living it up overseas the past few weeks, and we’ve been taking all the style notes.
We first caught up with the Vanderpump Rules cast member and her castmate Ariana Madix when they traveled abroad to celebrate the wedding of their good friends in Cheshire, England, on April 22. For the occasion, Katie wore a black mid-length dress with sheer sleeves and lace detailing around the torso and hem, finishing the look with a pair of black strappy heels, a dainty necklace, and several rings.
A few weeks after the “Posh AF” look (and stylish stops in London and Barcelona), Katie jetted off yet again (this time to the East Coast), sharing a peek at her travel attire along the way. “Airport ootd,” Katie wrote over a May 9 Instagram Story, referencing her “outfit of the day,” which included a black blazer over a red tee with a white, yellow, and black graphic. The brunette beauty paired her casual-cool style with black pants, a dog collar–like necklace, black sunglasses, and black-and-white Nike Jordan 1s.
The trip took place as Katie prepares to launch Something About Her, an upscale sandwich shop in West Hollywood, with her business partner, Ariana. The pair have been hard at work on the space since 2021 and are expected to open sometime before fall 2023.
During an April 5 appearance on Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino, Katie provided a few details on what patrons can expect from the casual eatery.
“It’s really gonna be so beautiful and I cannot wait. Cozy — it’s almost like airy, earthy, romantic,” she said. “You’re gonna have a traditional turkey, but maybe with a little bit of spice or kick to it; a spicy Italian; I love a good egg-salad sandwich. We gotta have some seasonal salads we can rotate, depending on the time of year… We wanna do beer and wine. Ariana, she can make a lot of wine-based cocktails. She has the skills for that.”
In addition to the ladies talking about the details of the space, they also brought us into the physical location on Season 10, Episode 12 of Vanderpump Rules, which aired on April 26. While Katie noted how “cute” the place already looked, Ariana gushed that there were “so many possibilities.”
“It’s so exciting just to be here and look around and see how much potential this space has,” Katie said during a confessional, adding how they had done “a little bit of work on the space” at one point.
She continued: “We’re gonna have a sandwich empire… and it all starts now!”
