Katie Maloney-Schwartz Has an Easy Trick for Sleek, Straight Hair

There’s no denying that Katie Maloney-Schwartz is #blessed in the hair department. We’ve long admired her thick Brooke Shields-esque brows and her full head of healthy strands. So, when we caught a glimpse of a hair tutorial form the Vanderpump Rules SURver, we had no choice but to drop everything and watch.

Last week, Katie decided to test a new hair tool live in action on Instagram Stories. “Hey everyone, I just got this really cute straightening brush. It’s the Vanity Planet BB Flow Hair Straightening Brush, I have not used it yet. So, I’m just going to do my hair for you right now,” she opened the paid partnership story.

Katie continued: “It has two heat settings: The blue light is 350 degrees and then the green light that I have it up to is 410 degrees. I put it up to 410 because I have thick hair and I want it to be hot, so I can get the best results."

After brushing the right side of her hair for a few seconds, the Pucker and Pout co-founder was stunned by the results — in the very best way. “So, this has just been 10 seconds of me running it through my hair and you can already see the difference. That’s crazy,” she said as she ran her fingers through her sleek hair. In the clip, Katie explained that her hair “is really thick and it takes forever with a straightener,” but that wasn’t the case with this new tool.

Judging by the videos, we think it’s pretty safe to say that Katie instantly fell in love with this hair device. “It’s so compact, so lightweight, and easy to use,” she raved. She also went on to show how the brush bristles themselves were not hot to the touch, meaning no more harsh burns. That’s definitely a plus in our book.

After just a few minutes, Katie revealed her smooth results: "I like it because it’s as simple as brushing your hair and it gets it nice and smooth. If you have wavy or frizzy hair, it'll smooth it all out."
