Tom Colicchio Remembers the Late William Goldman as the “Greatest Eater Ever”
The Bravo's Top Chef head judge paid tribute to the acclaimed screenwriter.
Tom Colicchio has offered up a sweet and revelatory memory of a friend he just lost.
Screenwriter William Goldman, 87, passed away Thursday night in his New York City home. His exemplary filmography included many of your favorites: He wrote the scripts for beloved movies like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, All The President's Men, The Princess Bride, The Stepford Wives, and Misery, just to name a few.
"My friend Bill Goldman passed away today," the Bravo's Top Chef host and lead judge wrote in a post on Twitter. "The world knew him as an screenwriter, I knew Bill as the greatest eater ever. #RIPWilliamGoldman."
What a sweet and personal way to pay tribute to a friend.
