I have probably done one demo in my whole career. It was a disaster. I have never done TV. I always seem to get real nervous.
Bravotv.com: Why did you choose your salad?
I chose that salad because it is a great summer dish, my customers love it, and it's a great salad for the viewers to do at home to impress their guests.
Bravotv.com: You're seemingly redeeming yourself for the judges, but it seems you still feel dogged by your fellow chefs -- why do you think that is?
It's a competition! They want to win.

You know I don't see many dishes, but everyone seems to do their best. It's tough. Bravotv.com: Are you excited for your Today Show segment?
SO EXCITED!!! National TV. I have butterflies already.
