Who knows who stole Ed Cotton's pea puree for the Palms challenge? Oh, everyone does. Or at least they think they do. In Episode 7, Alex wins with a dish with pea puree, but he claimed he didn't know what he was going to make the day before. Ed had already made pea puree, but it went missing, so everyone assumed Alex took it. Unfortunately, we didn't have the footage! Watch as Alex Reznik address the accusations at the season's reunion.

Both fellow cheftestants and fans voiced their concerns when they noticed that Jamie Lauren, well, never cooked, but kept getting through to the next episode. First, she cut her finger so badly at the museum challenge that her team partner Jennifer Caroll carried the team, and then went home because of it. Next, at the U.S. Open challenge, she never served her dish, but didn't go home. She was ultimately eliminated, but and was later forced to react to her lack of "heart" at the reunion.

In probably the biggest scandal in 'Top Chef' history, Cliff Crooks was sent home for, well, hazing, fellow cheftestant Marcel Vigneron. Cliff, Elia, and Ilan had the brilliant idea of shaving Marcel's head (after shaving their own of course), but Cliff forcefully held down Marcel to make it happen. Then, Cliff had to pack his knives and go.

Sure, "Scallopgate" could probably be confused for another Jamie "Top Chef" Lauren controversy too, but this is about the frozen scallops that would ultimately be Spike Mendelsohn's demise in the "High Steaks" episode of 'Top Chef: Chicago.' At Judges' Table, Spike got a little saucy with guest judge Rick Tramonto about having the frozen scallops in his kitchen. Tramonto countered with the fact that Spike didn't have to use them just because they were there. Checkmate.

Everything is so much bigger in Texas that it has already produced two controversies! First, Keith was "thrown under the bus" when his chefs claimed he was responsible for buying frozen pre-cooked shrimp, even though his teammates were with him when he bought it. Secondly, Keith went home for a bad enchilada made with flour tortillas. And so, the great debate over whether an enchilada can be made with a flour tortilla or not was born.

I mean, we made a t-shirt with the phrase, so it obviously belongs on the list. Dave Martin and Tiffani Faison clashed so much during Restaurant Wars that Dave said "I'm Not Your Bitch, Bitch" to the season runner-up at Judges' Table. Yikes!

Carla (and we) know that Casey Thompson didn't cost Carla the Season 5 title, but many fans though her strong suggestion of sous-viding her meat in the finale cost her the win.
