Lisa Barlow Proves She's Ready to Be a Real Housewife with This Over-the-Top Cake
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member is celebrating the new series with a beloved Housewife tradition.
While the Real Housewives can be totally unpredictable, if there's one thing we're sure of, it's that they are obsessed with over-the-top cakes for any occasion. (Need proof? Check out the video above!)
So, when The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City's Season 1 trailer was released on September 9, cast member Lisa Barlow had the most fitting way to celebrate: with an extravagant confection. As seen in a photo posted to what appears to be Lisa's family's Instagram account, the large cake featured a side dedicated to a headshot of Lisa as well as one displaying the show's title against a Salt Lake City background.
Another side of the cake displayed the Chanel logo, which is a Housewife favorite when it comes to dessert decoration. Just this year, RHOC alum Heather Dubrow received a cake shaped like a hat box with the fashion house's logo; RHONJ cast member Jennifer Aydin treated her daughter Gabriella to a purple birthday cake decorated with Chanel's logo and topped with an edible version of a black bag from the brand; and RHOBH cast member Dorit Kemsley's unique birthday cake came topped with the logo as well.
Lisa shared another look at the cake to her personal account, showing off a side dedicated to her Vida Tequila brand. "My boys surprised me with this!" she captioned the photo, which also included RHOSLC-themed cookies. "I’m not much of a housewife but this is pretty amazing!"
