During a recent, impromptu cooking show on Instagram Stories, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum shared the simplest trick for preventing a pot from boiling over. And all you'll need to do it is a wooden spoon.
After dumping her butternut-squash ravioli into a pot of boiling water, Gretchen perched a wooden spoon over the top of the cooking vessel. She explained that the technique stops the water from boiling over the edge. Huh! Who knew?
