Recap: The 'Wives Say "Aloha"

At the beginning of the episode, Vicki finally fesses up to the fact that she's still dating Brooks. This is how Tamra felt about it.

And this is how Heather felt about it.

Despite knowing that Brooks isn't the right guy for Vicki, Tamra still has Vicki's back. And Vicki, apparently, also has Tamra's. BFFs!

In the Beador home, Shannon's girls prepared for cotillion, which is a class for rich kids to learn how to behave properly and eat with a salad fork. Shannon, her mother, and her grandmother all attended cotillion classes.

Shannon's husband David doesn't really get cotillion.

Back at the Judges, Eddie hangs curtains to help de-bachelor pad his house/get ready for Tamra's spooky party. (Not to be confused with a Halloween party even though they happen around the same time of year.) This is his face while reacting to Tamra's nudging about having more children.

Tamra's not feeling Eddie's reaction. Though she's had her tubes tied, she still wants another baby. "I don't know if that's what we need, or that's really what Eddie wants...or that's really what I want." Decisions, decisions.

Later, Vicki stops by Tamra's early before her spooky party and they get their makeup done together. Vicki went for a more natural approach...

...while Tamra opted for Blonde Elvira.

Heather had a pimple, so she painted an evil eye on her forehead. (Shout out to Brooks?)

Heather invited new 'Wife Shannon to Tamra's party, and everyone played nice while meeting each other. Something tells us things don't stay that way for long. (That "something" might be "lessons learned after eight seasons of The Real Housewives of Orange County.")

The ladies gather around the fire and chat about normal Housewife stuff -- astrology and whether or not they should stay married to their husbands.

Shannon seems to be seriously contemplating her marriage during these first two episodes. She admitted in her blog that she didn't like the way she nagged David. If it's not one thing, it's another.

The man is just trying to help, Shannon!

We hope these two crazy kids can come together for the dinner party Shannon's planning for the ladies. You know what they say -- the couple that cooks together...totally gets in each other's way the whole time they're cooking together.

Vicki's son Michael stops by his mom's house while he's in town from San Diego. When Vicki proudly tells him that she "lost eight pounds," her protein powder-loving son responds, "That's not that special."

Tamra breaks down during dinner with Heather and Shannon. "I just want this baby that could be ours, that's just mine and Eddie's."

Heather, knowingly or not, puts her Mom hat on and tries to calm Tamra's feelings. "I don't think that having another child is going to fill that hole. I just don't."

Shannon didn't appreciate the way Heather responded to Tamra. "I'm getting to know Heather right now -- a little red flag is coming up. She seems to have quite a few opinions."

Vicki invited a family therapist over to her house as she searches for answers about her situation with Brooks.

Vicki feels torn between keeping Brooks in her life and keeping her daughter Briana happy. The therapist tells her that if she keeps Brooks around, she has to let the idea of keeping Brianna content go.

Shannon's kids get in on the dinner party action as they help prepare dessert. (That would be their second kitchen, by the way. Check out all the rooms in their house in Shannon's home tour.)

When David returns from the liquor store with only two bottles of red wine, Shannon blows a gasket.

"YOU NEED TO GET IN YOUR CAR AND GO BACK! WHAT IF EVERYONE WANTS WINE?"

Heather is stressing about leaving the kids home to go to Shannon's. (But we secretly think she's freaking out because their rental house is so "small.")

Dr. Terry Dubrow, though, is always cool as a cucumber. He suggests staying home, but he's ruled out. He tried!

It's a near catastrophe when the potatoes are undercooked. And an even bigger disaster when the creme brulee torch goes missing. Not the creme brulee torch!

It gets even more uncomfortable when Shannon and David start bickering in front of everyone. Awkward...

Shannon seems to be the only one who's not uncomfortable. She keeps the embarrassing comments coming.

Shannon and David's bickering is a little much for Tamra, and it hits a little too close to home. Vicki also thought their situation sounded was familiar: "It's like looking at a mirror of Don and I." Ouch...
