Alex McCord Comments on Her Housewives Return in the Most Iconic Way

The Real Housewives of New York City alum dug a famous piece of Housewives history out of her closet for the world to see.

On January 9, Peacock confirmed the lineup for the upcoming fourth season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, bringing back the Ex-Wives Club theme with eight former Housewives on the docket.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Bravo Tuesdays at 9/8c and stream next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

One of those ’Wives? Alex McCord, an alum of The Real Housewives of New York City Seasons 1 to 4. To celebrate her return to the Bravosphere, Alex reflected on a moment from her RHONY past when she and Luann de Lesseps were hashing out some drama and the Countess uttered the now-iconic line: “Even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes.”

The shady comment was said in response to a pair of boots by the designer that Alex had previously worn that season (and that Luann called “Herman Munster shoes”). Cut to today and the women are having a laugh about that moment following the big news about Alex’s return to the small screen.

“Never, ever a mistake,” the mother of two hilariously captioned a photo of the brown leather and knit wedge boots.

Luann herself joined in on the fun to wish Alex a great season, recalling a quote from one of their past fights when she told her castmate to “go back to the cabinet you came out of.”

“Well……guess who’s out of the cabinet,” Luann captioned a video of the moment. “[Alex McCord] Love this!” Congratulations to all the [OG] housewives!”
