Margaret Josephs Shares How a Renovation Mishap "Ruined" Her Wild New Wallpaper

The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member has some home repair on her hands after an unfortunate incident tore up her crocodile wallpaper.

By Jenny Berg

When she renovated her New Jersey home, Margaret Josephs had a vision, and that vision involved pattern, print, and texture galore. During Season 11 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, viewers got a peek into the finished product, which has what Margaret described as a "rock and roll hotel" vibe infused with "high Hollywood vintage glamour." As part of its bold decor, the house has walls wrapped in wild prints.

In a recent Instagram Story, Margaret said: "Everybody knows that I'm obsessed with wallpaper. And not only is this Missoni wallpaper amazing, I have amazing crocodile wallpaper too." The video showed the textured, scaly green paper in question, which looks obsession-worthy indeed. But, there's a slight issue.

In the next Story, Margaret held her hand against a swatch of the crocodile paper. "[This is] absolutely perfect, we're just waiting for molding, up until someone fell through!" she shared. Pointing to an unseemly hole in the wall, Margaret explained her latest renovation holdup in mock exasperation.

"They broke through the walls! We're doing my closet. Someone fell through the wall ... So my wallpaper is ruined. So this whole wall will have to be redone," she said. She cheekily captioned her story with: "Oops!"
