Jennifer Aydin Reveals Her “Crucial” Pillow for Recovering from Facial Treatments
The RHONJ beauty buff launched the perfect pillow to protect your lips, lashes, and brows.
To call Jennifer Aydin a cosmetic procedure pro may be an understatement. The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member has been candid about trying everything from Botox and fillers to facials and lash lifts, and she even recently went under the knife for a nose job and chin implant. (Not to mention her husband is a renowned New Jersey plastic surgeon.)
So when Jennifer says something is “necessary for any kind of beauty aftercare regimen,” I listen. That something would be the Ultimate Beauty Pillow: LLB ($49.99), a product of Jennifer’s own creation.
“Right around my first year with Housewives, I was getting a facial at my husband [Bill Aydin]’s office, and I was very uncomfortable with the pillow that they had there,” the mom of five shared with BravoTV.com. “So, we came up with this concept [for the pillow] and we came up with the acronym LLB which is Lips Lashes and Brows.”
“Basically, it was to make our facials more bearable,” she explained. “This is so moldable, and so soft, that it really just cradles to the size of your neck.”
The power of this U-shaped silk/cotton blend pillow goes beyond comfort in the treatment room, Jennifer noted: “Beauty aftercare 101 is not to sleep on your face.” Whether you’re trying to maintain dermal fillers, lip injections, microblading, or even prolong the lifespan of your eyelash extensions, Jennifer recommends sleeping with this pillow on top of your regular pillow to avoid putting pressure on your face.
In fact, during Jennifer’s most recent plastic surgery procedure, she says the pillow played a “crucial” role in her recovery: “I was wrapped up, I had tissues, gauze, everything, and I could not do it if I did not have my beauty pillow because it saved me. It kept my head elevated, it prevented my face from hitting the pillow, and I really realized how important it was after needing it after my surgery.”
