Kameron Westcott Explains Why She Once Lived in a Tent for an Entire Month
The RHOD cast member shared a shocking revelation about a less-than-ideal living situation from her past.
Kameron Westcott has lived in her fair share of gorgeous homes, from the $5 million pink-filled Texas abode we watched The Real Housewives of Dallas cast member and her family sell this season to the incredible new mansion she’s currently decorating with her own fabulous style. But when you go a bit further back in Kameron’s history, it appears she’s also lived somewhere totally unlikely.
On the March 2 episode of RHOD, Kameron, Tiffany Moon, and Stephanie Hollman went on a hike during their trip to Austin. Of course, Kameron came prepared with the most lavish outdoor adventure gear (including a totally bedazzled water bottle), but she also dropped an interesting fact about her life, proving she’s much more in touch with nature than the ladies may have given her credit for.
“I went to an outdoors school for middle school and everything was outdoors,” Kameron explained. “At outdoor school, I actually lived in a tent for a month.”
Although the experience undoubtedly equipped Kam with some impressive survival skills, it had its drawbacks.
“I had to wash my hair with biodegradable shampoo in the river,” she explained in an interview during the episode. “That does not detangle whatsoever!”
Stephanie chimed in on Kameron’s interesting reveal to give her friend a new nickname, quipping, “I could see her at an outdoor school like, outside by the pool. With lemonade. She’s like wilderness Barbie, who should not be in the wilderness.”
