Sutton Stracke Explains Why She Gets "Anxiety" in Dressing Rooms
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couture-lover shed a little light on her fitting room "breakdown" in Rome.
Couture lover and all around fashion obsessive, Sutton Stracke, seems like she's practically a pro when it comes to luxury shopping. But in a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Sutton suffered a bit of a dressing room malfunction as the ladies took Rome by storm. Now, the West Hollywood boutique owner is shedding a little light on exactly what happened in the pricey fitting room and why she gets "anxiety" while trying things on (same, Sutton, same).
"You know I don't like trying things on!" Sutton exclaimed on RHOBH as the group gathered for a post shopping spree bite. Things went a bit south as Sutton hit the luxury dressing room, resulting in tears and perhaps even a newfound friendship between Sutton and Dorit. Sutton explained her mindset on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show and, honestly, we totally get it. See her talk all things Italy in the clip above.
"I don't like shopping with people. I like shopping the privacy of my home usually or by myself," Sutton began in the clip. "It was fun to be there with everybody but I thought we all were going to be trying things on. And I get very...I didn't want to try something on and then come out and model it. I just don't do that." Understandable, but, according to Sutton, there were many factors that contributed to the less than ideal shopping vibes.
"I had a breakdown because, well, one dress that they wanted me to try on didn't fit so that gives me anxiety. Nobody likes that and it's embarrassing. Then it was hot in that dressing room and I didn't really like that dress anyway. It just was all wrong and my anxiety was high because they went to such extreme measures to let us come to the store where they laid out all of our clothes to try."
Sutton also explains that she felt a little guilty given the lengths the boutique went through to accommodate the group. "That was actually the men's section. So they had recreated it into this princess room and it means so much to me. But then I ruined it by crying! What's also ironic is that I actually bought some things that were in the room. And I'm like...if I had just tried on that other dress, we would not have that horrible thing that happened to me in the dressing room."
Luckily, as she outlines in the clip above, Dorit came in and kept her calm. We get it, Sutton.
