Kandi & Todd Are Opening a New Restaurant Named After Someone *Very* Special

With a new venture in the restaurant industry, The Real Housewives of Atlanta couple Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker are hoping to make a big impact on their neighborhood. "I live in Southwest Atlanta and always asked why we don’t have certain restaurants in our area (Black Area). But I’m not asking any more!" Todd wrote in an August 11 Instagram post. "I will build what we want and what we need in our communities!"

As they get ready to open Blaze, a steak and seafood restaurant seemingly named after their daughter, Todd is already thinking about his next big goal. He quipped in his caption: "They better not let me figure out how to build my own grocery store!"

Kandi, who commented "make it happen babe!" on the photo, also shared Todd's post to her own Instagram Story, adding: "Our New Restaurant coming soon!!!!!" While no official opening date has been announced, a sign on the door seen in the post notes that the restaurant is currently hiring. 

As RHOA fans know, the duo also founded southern eatery Old Lady Gang, which has now expanded to three locations. After announcing the exciting news of their forthcoming restaurant, Kandi and Todd received words of encouragement from friends including Cynthia Bailey, who noted she was "so excited" and Marlo Hampton, who commented on the post with four fire emojis.

In recent months, Todd has also been hard at work on a new drink business. "Just made a TODD’s Margarita!" he captioned a March Instagram video of himself tasting the mixed drink. "I’m coming out with a Tequila and I want to name it TODD’s TEQUILA!"

While he hadn't fully committed to the name at the time, he explained in the clip, "My wife likes the name, of course."  However, he admitted, "She's a little biased."
