Here’s Kandi Burruss and Cynthia Bailey’s Best Parenting Advice for New Mom Porsha Williams
At the taping of the Season 11 reunion, The Real Housewives of Atlanta ladies had these words of wisdom for the then mama-to-be.
The things that went down at The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 11 Reunion weren't really — shall we say — family-friendly. (Catch up on the episode here, and brace yourself!) But before the showdown started, BravoTV.com cameras caught the ladies talking about a super sweet topic: Babies.
In the clip above, a couple of the Atlanta 'Wives shared some parenting advice for new mom Porsha Williams (who was still pregnant when the filming took place). Here's what they had to say:
Cynthia Bailey advised Porsha to take parenting step by step, be patient, and not overwhelm herself. "You kind of just learn it as you go," the model said. "Babies are individual, and your own baby — there's nothing like it." When talking about the pressure to breastfeed, she added, "Don't put pressure on yourself to do things that don't work for you and your baby. Do what works for you."
Kandi Burruss had some super sweet advice. "Just love your child as much as you possibly can. I mean, I think that's gonna take you the rest of the way. You're gonna figure everything else out. For real, for real." Oh and also: Keep a couple of good thermometers on hand, along with baby medicine in case any sicknesses pop up.
She also has some sage advice for potty training, as you'll see in the clip above. It's an unorthodox trick, but it sure worked for Kandi! Click play on the video to learn the secrets of parenting, Housewives-style.
