Wolfgang Puck's Newest Restaurant Has the Best Views in Vegas — of the Strip and Celebs, Too
At Spago, may we recommend the crudo with a side of J-Lo sighting?
Spago has long been a celebrity magnet, and the newest location of Wolfgang Puck's restaurant proved to be a major A-list draw... even before it opened.
Indeed, the celebrity chef has just opened his newest location in Las Vegas — 25 years after first opening the legendary Spago in Sin City — at the Bellagio Resort & Casino.
The place takes its inspiration from California living, with a farm-to-table philosophy and a vibe that’s meant to be elegant but not fussy. Exclusive dishes for the new location include Baja kanpachi crudo with pickled radish, yuzu gel and hibiscus ponzu, plus creamy avocado and crunchy tapioca crisps; and a saffron risotto with Santa Barbara spot prawns, housed in a special tank within the resort. Also look for creative drinks like a tiki bourbon cocktail with the cheeky name “Trouble in Mind."
Best of all perhaps, the restaurant overlooks the Bellagio’s famous lake and fountain set back from the lights of the Las Vegas boulevard strip — and every seat has an Insta-worthy view. Think floor-to-ceiling glass windows and an outdoor patio that surely offers one of Vegas' best views over dinner.
Even before it opened, the stars were out in force: Last month, Jennifer Lopez celebrated the release of her new single, “Dinero,” at a private party held during a first look at the space.
She blew it out with a seven-foot-tall cake, created by the Bellagio pastry team, made to look like a bank vault. DJ Khaled showered the crowd with J Lo-branded $100 bills.
And that all sounds about right for Vegas latest hotspot for spotting celebs and taking in the city views.
