Eddie Judge Learned the Hard Truth About His "All-Time Favorite" Snack: "Wont Be Eating These Anymore"

Eddie Judge just went down the rabbit hole researching gelatin. And now, after seeing some disturbing online videos, The Real Housewives of Orange County husband has to break up with one of his favorite guilty pleasures. On November 7, the CUT Fitness co-owner took to Instagram to show an image that had gummy bears on one side — and, um, severed hooves on the other. (Pause for Vicki-Gunvalson-style gag — and watch the clip above if you need a refresher on that.) In his caption, Eddie had this to say:
"My all time FAVORITE candy has just been taken off my list. WOW! I had no idea what gummies were born. Since I was young I thought they came from a factory like Willy Wonka’s and now at 45 I find out the truth." He added a plea to his well-meaning wife: "Well, I won’t be eating these anymore. @tamrajudge I know you love me and buy me these to make me happy but please don’t bring these home again."
And if you, too, had dreams of gelatin being whipped up by a jaunty man in a purple hat, Eddie's here to tell you this: "Sorry! But I had to share... From pork skin connective tissue and bones of animals gummies are born. Youtube search 'How Gummy Candy Is Really Made.'"
